Testosterone enanthate is a long ester that is effective giving strong peaks right after the injection and stable slowly decreasing levels. It is metabolized into pure testosterone and has an identical action.

Testosterone Enanthate is used in men to replace testosterone to treat various health problems caused by a lack of testosterone (male hypogonadism). Clinical symptoms: impotence, infertility, low sexual desire, fatigue, depression, bone loss caused by low levels of the hormone testosterone. The medication is oestrogenic thus it does cause swelling.

• An allergy to testosterone or any other component of this medication.
• Androgen-dependent cancer, prostate or breast cancer.
• Liver tumors in present or in the anamnesis.
• High levels of calcium in the blood along with malignant neoplasms.
• A heart attack in the anamnesis or other serious heart diseases.
• Atherosclerosis.
• Diabetes.
• Pregnancy.
• Breastfeeding.

Testosterone Enanthate is not intended for use in children and teenagers under 18 years of age.

Dosage and side effects

Injections are administrated very slowly, intramuscularly. For the initial treatment of deficiency symptoms, 250 mg of testosterone enanthate is administered intramuscularly every 2-3 weeks.

For maintenance treatment: 250 mg of testosterone enanthate intramuscularly every three to six weeks, depending on individual requirements.

The correct dose is determined by the doctor. For older patients, lower doses should be prescribed.
Testosterone Enanthate is used only for intramuscular injection. Special care should be taken to avoid entry into a blood vessel. The injection solution in ampoules can be used many times after the first injection, provided that the lid of the ampoule has not been removed and the remaining contents remained hermetically sealed.

If you feel the effect of Testosterone Enanthate is too strong or too weak, talk with your doctor. Please comply with the conditions for the intervals between injections agreed with your doctor. If you stop using Testosterone Enanthate may have testosterone deficiency symptoms.

Like all medicines, Testosterone Enanthate can cause side effects. The most common side effects are acne and pain at the injection site.

Common side effects (may affect up to 1 in 10 people):
abnormally high levels of red blood cells in the blood; weight gain; acne;increase in prostate-specific antigen (increase in biochemical index in the blood); enlarged prostate size and related problems;various reactions at the injection site (for example, pain, discomfort, itching, redness, bruising, or irritation); increase in the number of red blood cells, hematocrit (as a percentage of red blood cells); increased erection.
